Unknown British flare/line throwing gun WW2?

Hello all,
A few weeks ago i picked up a number of flare guns. Amoung these guns was this long barrel British flare/line throwing gun. Can somebody identify this gun?

I believe it is a No1 Mk5, but with a long barrel. If I am wrong, someone please correct. The long barrel allows it to fire flares, yet can also double as a line thrower. Many of these are found with handles attached, to aid in being a line thrower.

Without the long barell the model is indeed identical to an No1 MK5. The (schermully) line throwing gun is slightly diffrent they have a ticker barrel and handle.

Can this be wartime production? or is this one made for civilian use? also the serialnumber is very low (000207)

the one militairia has posted must be a No 2 MK I; I bought mine more than
30 years ago from former Major Christensen.
