I beleive this to be an early model, as it does not have the loaded chamber indicator pin. Is that correct? It is in nice shape and marked euh.

Hello, It is late production.

Early guns have a hammer with no hole in it, The hammer is made from layers of metal, clearly visable, and usually have serial numbers below ~ 60,000.

I think it is used post- war by israely army. Does it have a large round mark on top of the barrel?

Thanks guys. Yes, it has a round stamp on top of the barrel. Looks like a 1 over a 25 and perhaps a hebrew letter after the 1.

Definately Israely post war use. I had the opportunity to see about 200 of these (re- imported), all euh and Ser# above 170.000!

So, other than the marking, did the Israelis do anything else to them?

Hi,
In addition to this marking, they add this blue finish to the LP (which is not the usual flare gun finish).

They also added the second serial number stamping under the barrel on the locking block. The number is visible in your first photograph. My thoughts only ......
