I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !
The humpback on the frame is much scarcer than the usual curved back. otherwise a normal French WWI flare gun.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

I found information about the symbol.
It would be nice if someone could translate it: J'ai trouvé la signification du faisceau d'éclairs: C'est l'insigne réglementaire français des télégraphistes et transmetteurs, je te joins aussi cet insigne !

Hi,
The translation of "J'ai trouvé la signification du faisceau d'éclairs: C'est l'insigne réglementaire français des télégraphistes et transmetteurs, je te joins aussi cet insigne !" is:
"I have found the meaning of the beam of lightning: It is the French regulatory insignia of the telegraphists and transmitters, I also join you this badge!"
Just to prove and show that the web insigna is the same as the marking on the flare gun.
Regards
