The humpback on the frame is much scarcer than the usual curved back. otherwise a normal French WWI flare gun.

"I have found the meaning of the beam of lightning: It is the French regulatory insignia of the telegraphists and transmitters, I also join you this badge!"
Just to prove and show that the web insigna is the same as the marking on the flare gun.
