Can Flare Gun Forum help us? WWI Small Arms Project

Hello everyone,

As part of a collaborative WWI small arms project (for the 100 year anniversary) we had a submitter request that we cover flare guns. Unfortunately I'm having a horrible time trying to put together a solid list of WWI issued projectors.

Would anyone like to contribute their knowledge to our project? First and foremost I need help with adding them to the list.

I have made a few tutorials on how to create the scale line drawings for the project. Even if you don't want to work on this perhaps the method would be useful for your own guide to flare guns.

I would suggest you start by going through the flare gun forum one post at a time. You will end up with at least 100 different examples. Then members can go through your list and fill in any other known examples to them. Some photo's have been lost, but there are still many left to begin your line drawings
