Post by Ratnik »

Greetings to all!

Here is late war holster, and I never see before such marking....
What could it mean? Note that a part of first digit is under the rivet.
Holster has no manufacturer code or waffenamt

I do not know, could it be a marking put on un-formed sheets or bales of Prestoff material ??

I will look through my holsters and see if I can find something similar.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

Very good looking holster ;-)

I think it is no marking, but the writing on the cartonboard they used to make the Presstoff. Would have no meaning or else, just taken what was there. I have similar on presstoff sealing rings, some numers on it without meaning....
